Horrible Bosses

Jason Bateman, Jason Sudeikis, and Charlie Day are out to get rid of their bosses once and for all. They are starting to get really tired of their daily routines. One boss doesn't give you credit for the work you do, another's son tries to call you "the golden one", and finally one who wants you to sleep with her before you marry your fiance.

Jason Bateman plays the lovable Nick Hendricks who works as an accountant at a big time company. He works from 6:00 in the morning to 1:00 in the morning. Nick hears that there is a big promotion for the senior vice president at his company and he has worked there for eight years and thinks he deserves a little credit for that. Within the first couple of minutes at the meeting Mr.Harken, Nick's boss, has announced that he will be taking on the job himself and only 85% of the salary. Nick's blood pressure is sent through the roof as he is confused by what Harken has just said. If Nick wants that job he has to kill his boss right? He deserves that job, right?

Kurt Buckman is portrayed by the talented Jason Sudeikis. Kurt works for Jack Pellit at Pellit and Son Chemical. He is a very sweet guy who flirts with every girl he meets. Jack would rather Kurt be his son as opposed to Bobby, his son who works with him. In a change of course after leaving his office, Jack has a heart attack and crashes his car. Bobby, Jack's son, is left in charge of things around the office now. Bobby turns the whole office upside down and tries to completely wipe out everything his dad left behind. Now that Kurt has a reason to kill his boss, he consults Nick and another friend with the same problem, Dale.

Dale is portrayed by Charlie Day. Dale works as a dental assistant for a sex-crazed woman named Julia. As he works there, he discovers that his boss is completely mad and wants him to sleep with her knowing that he is engaged. While he is working there, he has to try and avoid any possible contact with Julia. But who can resist Jennifer Aniston right? To make matters even worse, Stacy, Dale's fiance, comes to the dentist where  he works for an appointment to drill her teeth. When she is finally knocked out by the anesthesia, Julia then proceeds to tell him that he should sleep with her on top of Stacy's unconscious body! He proceeds to turn her down.......again! At first killing her seemed to far fetched. Then that stuff with Stacy happened and it tipped him over the edge.

Now that they have their motives, they need to decide who is taking care of the messy business. After meeting at Kurt's house, they decide to hire a hit man to carry out the operation. They go to a motel and look on a laptop and find a guy that they think is going to kill them. In a turn of events, the man tells them that they have misread the ad. Instead of killing people, he urinates on other men for the money. Flabbergasted by the confession, the guys have to think quick and decide to go to a dangerous bar and find a man who will do it for them.

This is where Jamie Foxx's character, Dean 'MF' Jones, comes in. He leads them to believe that he will murder their bosses at the cost of $5,000. Although they believed him and he was very persuasive, he tells them $5,000 worth of murder advice! Kurt, Nick, and Dale are not very happy.

After still processing things, the guys decide to take matters into their own hands. Finding information on their bosses, they decide who will kill which boss. Kurt doesn't kill anyone, he will be getting information on Julia, Nick will kill Pellit, and Dale will kill Harken. After finally getting into position, Dale calls Nick and says that he can't do it because he is too afraid that it will be traced back to them.

Changing their minds and getting out of their bosses houses, they head to a bar to discuss things. When they get there, they drink and decide to go home and sleep it off. As they get into their cars, they are approached by two policeman and are asked to come to the station. After being asked about where they were before the bar, they are told that Pellit was murdered.

Nick and Kurt knew who killed him, but if they told, they would end up in jail themselves. Thinking quickly about what to do, they decided to wear a wire and get Harken to confess to the murder. Upon arriving to the Harken residence, Kurt is distracted by Harken's wife. They rush into Harken's home office, and while Kurt is missing, Harken confesses to everything! So with that said, Kurt is to blame for the whole mess up.

Shortly after leaving the Harken residence, Harken comes speeding up behind them in his Cadillac, hitting Kurt's car several times. After the crash, Gregory, Kurt's Nav Guide, he stops the car and Harken hits them again. Now held at gunpoint, Nick, Kurt, and Dale step out of the car.Little does Harken know, Gregory, the Nav Guide, is recording him. Harken says he is going to frame them for the murder of Pellit. Shooting himself in the leg, he tosses the gun to Dale and Dale, being the "bright one" he is, catches the gun.

After the police arrive, the three heroes are shortly under arrest, until Gregory speaks up and says that it is procedure that he record all conversations. Nick speaks up and says "Play it just after the crash." Gregory does and Harken is placed under arrest.

Nick got the promotion, Dale caught Julia trying to sleep with him on video with the help of MF Jones, and Kurt doesn't have to put up with Bobby anymore. All's well that ends well.
